Happy Santa?
Marshall had his first encounter with Santa at the Mall. I don’t think he was buying into the fake beard though.

The geek train keeps a rollin’ down the track. We now have, for your viewing pleasure, a newly minted BabyCam (link at right) to help keep you entertained. I guess you could say this is to celebrate Marshall turning 3 months old today.
When active, the camera will send a new image to the web site every minute. If the timestamp is more than a few minutes behind – and remember we’re on Atlantic time here – then the camera is likely not running (we can’t do this ALL the time, you know!)
Enjoy!
ooooohhhh this is going to be soooo wonderful. Being able to see Marshall like this. Thanks!
We’ve been meaning to keep up with that… So here are a few more homemade gifts we have received over the last couple of weeks. Thanks to everyone!
In order, we received this gorgeous quilt from Aunt Sandy Dunn:

And also, this adorable froggie from Aunt Nancy Dunn:

And the latest, this sweet knitted sheep blanket from Donna! (I picked this out at xmas *grin*):

Ok, I really should have been sleeping instead of doing this…zzz
I’ve arrived at home for a quick meal, shower, and to empty my camera because it is FULL of pictures.
There are 2 albums, one for public viewing (no login required) and one that you must log in to see.
Marshall made his appearance at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18th.
He weighed in at 8 lbs, 15 and a half oz, and is 22 inches long!
Everyone is doing fine! They were a little pooped last night when I spoke to them on the phone, but Marshall sure does have a fine set of lungs!

Congratulations you guys!!! The fun has just started. Glad to hear that everything went well and we’re looking forward to meeting Marshall.
Love Carla Mark and Paige
My name is Marshall Dunn
Has been moved to its own page (see sidebar) or here: Grover’s diaper test!
We have been busy here in Halifax…getting ready for Marshall!
Let’s see…
This is why we have to clean the sink so often:

It has been Freddie’s favourite pastime lately, since he has the diabetes:

We seem to be getting him under control though, so we are starting to relax a bit. He must not have used all his 9 lives. We have started calling him Slippery Jack, and sometimes we call him Frank:

Bounce likes to keep busy by … well by bouncing:

Or by keeping Marshall warm:

Rick made some delicious pie crusts and used some of his mom’s mincemeat to fill one, and I made lemon filling and meringue for the other:

And I made some curtains – first for our room – to keep it nice and dark so we can sleep whenever he sleeps:

Marshall! What a handsome name!
Deluxe pedicure Saturday morning

The bath was actually after I painted the guest room Saturday night/Sunday:
Before:

Bounce and me on a break Sunday afternoon where I got a wee sunburn on the belly:

After:

The flowers Stacey sent for the shower 2 weeks ago, although fewer, are still gorgeous after a little trimming and rearranging:

Next project: Baby’s room curtains!

There are a couple of other gifts I need to mention:
Rick came home from Toronto with a parasite, but he also came with something really precious. Aunt Judy sent some gifts, and among them was a fuzzy bunting bag. I asked Rick if her boys had worn it, and he said yes, but before that, some other boys wore it. My jaw dropped. Rick and his brother wore this bunting bag when they were babies! Unbelievable!
I am hoping to find a picture of Rick in this when he was little and post it alongside a pic of our little one sporting the very same fuzzywuzzle:

Also, part of a gift that Sheila Q sent down from Qbec. We may have to set our boy up in this gear for a big Mexican wedding at Xmastime. it came with a sweet short-sleeve green shirt that I should have also taken a picture of, but it’s now in the wash. Hopefully we’ll get a picture of him IN it!

Alright, pictures finally, as promised:
Let’s start with this amazing quilt from Sara:

And now, mom’s beautiful sweater:

And Eden’s cute little blanket/towel:

And finally, Rhia’s hilarious bibs:

Several of which must be pointed out as hilarious prints:
