Busy bees

We have been busy here in Halifax…getting ready for Marshall!

It has been Freddie’s favourite pastime lately, since he has the diabetes:

We seem to be getting him under control though, so we are starting to relax a bit. He must not have used all his 9 lives. We have started calling him Slippery Jack, and sometimes we call him Frank:

Bounce likes to keep busy by … well by bouncing:

Or by keeping Marshall warm:

Rick made some delicious pie crusts and used some of his mom’s mincemeat to fill one, and I made lemon filling and meringue for the other:

And I made some curtains – first for our room – to keep it nice and dark so we can sleep whenever he sleeps:
